Diamond-Studded Apple Logo

Now these are some diamonds I can get on board with…

Apparently Computer Choppers of West Linn, Oregon is putting together a diamond-encrusted MacBook Pro. Yes…the entire laptop. At this point, they’ve only completed the logo section of the laptop (pictured). VERY COOL.

According to their website, turnaround time is 2-3 weeks (it can be custom made with other stones as well). Available in gold or platinum. Oh..and the logo allows the light behind it to shine through.

Update: Just heard back from Computer Choppers (thanks for the fast response gentlemen). For the logo only: The size, shape, and type of stone are up to the buyer. The design is customizable–they draw a design and pattern based on the options you choose. The Apple logo pictured is approximately 3.00ctw. White gold will run you around $2200 and platinum puts you up around $2400-$2500. I’ll take 5…..as long as Whiteflash is picking up the tab. ;)
