9-11-01.jpgIt wasn’t so long ago that our world changed.

Everyone I know remembers exactly where he or she was when America was attacked that day.  Everyone remembers the sense of confusion, pain and loss.  How could anyone do this?

Six years later there are still as many questions as there are answers, but no one will forget the day everyone in this country, and in many places around the world, received a wake-up call.

We pray for the fallen, for those still affected and for those who put themselves in harm’s way around the world in the name of freedom.

  1. It’s very true that this is one of those eerie days that we all recall vividly and knew exactly where we were and how we felt when we heard the news. I’ve been watching several movies and documentarys this week about 9/11 so it brings it all back! Still hard to believe that it really happened. I also remember that for a very brief few days, we all felt kind of united…..and bipartisan. How far we’ve come from that feeling….

  2. It really is difficult to put out of my mind…I worked for the airline at the time and was driving into work…it was so hard for so many of us and we were on lock down and all of downtown was being evacuated…i was in Customer Care and I remember so many went home with their families…and the phone calls we were getting were really difficult…people were so afraid and I had one man screaming and crying to me that we had to fly to Tel Aviv so he could be with his family…it was just hard

  3. I rmember so vividly turning on the radio in my car as I was driving to a morning class, I was in college at the time, and not believing what I was hearing. I thought it was some bizzarre joke. The footage to this day still breaks my heart.

My prayers and thoughts are with all who lost loved ones on that dreadful day.
