love-tv.jpgI’m one of those people that has always been hopelessly addicted to TV, so “PREMIER WEEK” is something I look forward to. This season will be particularly fun since I have now “caught up” with technology and have a DVR! This means that I can pre-program my regular shows and not have to worry about conflicting times/channels, etc.! I KNOW…you’ve ALL been doing this for several years now, but for me…IT’S A WHOLE NEW WORLD!  TV guide has an excellent on-line fall preview that outlines the new schedule (click here).  Personally…My FAV’S are “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Desperate Housewives”, “Boston Legal”, “Brother’s and Sisters”, ER, Dancing with the Stars and hummmmmmmm, I’m sure there are many more! New ones that look interesting to me are “Private Practice” and “Journeyman” among quite a few others. I usually end up getting “hooked” on a new show because friends or relatives call and INSIST I watch it!  My oldest TV habit is “General Hospital”. I’ve been watching that one for more then 30 years! We had babies together, gone through births, deaths, re-births, “back from the dead” and lots more! They are all like my personal friends and family members. I’ve also watched 60 minutes since my earliest memory, and many other news shows (being the news and political junkie that I am). Show I miss the most, without a doubt is “The West Wing”. I thought it was the most clever and best written show EVER! (again, I’m a sucker for politics!).  Anyway………….happy watching! We’ll discuss more in the weeks to come….I’m going to SET MY DVR!!!!!! Woo hoo!!!!

  1. I agree! A new year, a new season of great TV…
and as far as General Hospital goes, I too have watched for 30 years. It’s nice to know that some lives (even if they are fictional) are more screwed up than mine!

  2. i actually don’t get into a show until several seasons later…and then find myself addited to buying ever season at target…I think jamie and her b/f actually can spend a saturday watching almost the whole season of a show on a saturday..they are nuts..but if you miss a show and want to know how it starts go to their place they have a whole blockbuster in their living room

  3. Celina that’s the only way I can watch “24.” I never watch a single episode until the whole season is finished, then take a weekend to rent the DVDs, stock up on steaks for the grill, hunker down with my lady, turn our phones off and plug into the matrix!
