All languages are constantly changing and evolving. Words that were once considered slang become the “norm” and earn new respect as an accepted terms. BLING is one of those words. It used to be a catchy fun colloquialism and BLING has been added to the English Dictionary! As MTV notes, The linguistics “gangstas” over at the Oxford English Dictionary aren’t “new jacks” to the latest “def” lingo…Other terms like “jiggy,” “breakbeat,” “dope” and “phat” have been online updates to the 20-volume dictionary already.
