Drive Me To Work???

I read an interesting story in my newspaper this evening (yes, some of us still read the printed newspaper!). It seems that General Motors plans to have a car that will drive itself within the next decade! If this actually comes to fruition, it will obviously change the world as we know it. Imagine, no more drunk drivers, much fewer accidents, naps behind the wheel on the way to work….it boggles the mind. I have to admit the Lexus commercials that they have now of their car that will parallel park itself is pretttttty tempting. Everyone knows that most women are not the greatest parallel parkers (myself leading the pack…LOL) Why not have a car that will do it for you! It wil be interesting the advances that the vehicle industry will go through in the years to come. Eventually we’ll all end up like the Jetson’s, right?
