Sheerah, My engagement ring is astoundingly beautiful -– the emerald cut diamond is gorgeous — we especially love the design! A very simple ‘east-west’ ring setting — a symbolic representation and a continuous reminder of the endless (as far as the east is from the west) love poured out by God for us, to us and for each other–we know it’s not a coincidence God brought Ernie from the east coast and I from the west coast together. The proposal wasn’t a complete surprise. We both expected to attend Bible study but Ernie came to pick me up with a ring in hand — he popped the question! We had an impromptu celebration at Jake’s in Del Mar.
